I hope you don't mind indulging me for 2 minutes while I relay an email that has just crossed my desk. Not the sort of tub-thumping I'm usually comfortable with, but in this case I had absolutely nothing to do with the project ...! All I'm really doing is making public a thank you to the team involved.
We have just launched a new web site for Addaction, one of the UK’s largest specialist drug and alcohol treatment charities. You can find it at www.addaction.org.uk. The project was quite a standard one, from understanding Addaction's business and communications goals through to designing, developing and launching a new web site.
Let me take this opportunity to thank you all for the fantastic work you've done on this project. I'm not surprised your clients are happy with you - I certainly am! Please pass on my thanks to Khaled too.
So far the feedback from Addaction has been extremely positive, and I'm expecting that to continue.
