By way of informally launching our Get Active platform, we attended the County Sports Partnerships National Convention. To be honest, attending this sort of event as "exhibitors" is always a little soul destroying. Partly because we like to think of ourselves as more than suppliers, partly because we like to be in the sessions learning stuff too, but mainly because we know that nobody attends events to talk to exhibitors!
And so we racked our brains for a creative solution to this problem: how best to stand out from the crowd? Sponsored Segways to ferry people from the car park to the convention centre? (Almost mandatory) cupcakes for all? In the end the oldies are the goodies: dinner and drinks the night before the convention.
Seriously though, a huge thank you to all who joined us. Those from Nemisys who were lucky enough to attend (not me - bah) really enjoyed the evening, and we hope you did too!
